In a groundbreaking initiative, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) orchestrated an exceptional industry visit on August 10, 2023. This event proved to be a pivotal bridge between academia and industry, offering students a unique opportunity to delve into the inner workings of real-world projects and gain invaluable insights.
The spotlight of the visit was the engagement with Datasoft, a prominent industry player. The students were privileged to receive guidance from none other than Mr. Hasan Rahman-Ratan, an esteemed Ex-NASA Scientist and the Managing Director of DMA (Datasoft Multimedia & Advertising). This interaction opened a window to cutting-edge projects and pioneering ideas currently in progress at Datasoft.
Leading the delegation from ULAB, Professor Dr. Muhammad Golam Kibria, the Head of the CSE Department, played a significant role in ensuring the success of the visit. His expertise and dedication underscored ULAB’s commitment to fostering collaboration between academia and industry. Accompanying him was Mr. Asadujjaman Milon, a key figure in the CSE department, whose contributions further enriched the students’ experience.
Integral to the success of the event was the unwavering support provided by the ULAB Computer Programming Club (UCPC). Their meticulous planning and execution ensured a seamless flow of activities, allowing students to fully immerse themselves in the industry environment.
