The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) professor Dr. Muhammad Golam Kibria left for South Korea to participate in the 23rd International Conference on Control, Automation, and Systems (ICCAS), which took place from October 17–20, 2023.
His research paper, “IoT-based Smart Ankle Foot Orthosis for Patients with Gait Imbalance,” was co-authored by Ferdous Rahman Shefa, Fahim Hossain Sifat, and the distinguished Professor Dr. Sayed Chhattan Shah of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and he presented it at this prestigious event.
Professor Kibria had insightful conversations with eminent academics and researchers during his visit in South Korea in addition to attending keynote speeches. He explored opportunities for team research initiatives and provided his insights.
Professor Kibria used the conference schedule as an opportunity to visit some of the world-class research facilities and universities in South Korea, such as Woosong University, Chungnam National University, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He also took advantage of the opportunity to fully immerse in South Korea’s local culture and landmarks.
